What is a wood-burning integrated stove? What are the advantages of a wood-burning integrated stove?

The rapid development of integrated cooktops has made them increasingly popular among many people. As for wood-burning integrated cooktops, many people probably haven't heard of them yet. In fact, wood-burning integrated cooktops look remarkably similar to conventional integrated cooktops, and both feature low-altitude side-suction and downward exhaust systems for smoke and fumes.

What are the advantages of a wood-burning stove?

Energy conservation: Wood-burning stoves typically use plant materials such as wood, sawdust, wood shavings, and weeds as fuel. Their unique internal structure allows the fuel to undergo direct combustion and carbonization, ensuring complete combustion and achieving high efficiency, thereby playing a role in energy conservation.

New energy-saving stainless steel wood-burning stove (stainless steel energy-saving wood-burning stove)

Wood-burning stoves can be used outdoors, in courtyards, for outdoor cooking, at home, and even in restaurants. Currently, wood-burning stoves are a new and practical type of biomass stove, ideally suited for rural areas as well as the urban-rural fringe regions.

Different structural designs of wood-burning stoves in southern regions

The front-draft chimney structure above the stove opening and the rear-draft chimney structure at the tail end of the stove body are common designs for wood-burning stoves in southern China. Both designs are relatively extreme: even if they achieve smokelessness, they do so at the significant cost of wasting large amounts of thermal energy. By excessively enlarging the flue and the smoke outlet, these designs create an overly strong draft in the chimney. As a result, the firebox loses heat too rapidly, making it not only impossible to maintain a stable temperature but also preventing the temperature from rising high enough to meet the conditions required for secondary combustion. This leads to extremely high wood consumption and very low thermal efficiency.

How to Make an Energy-Saving Wood Stove, Methods for Making an Energy-Saving Wood Stove

Determine the construction location, excavate the flue duct, mark out the chimney base on the ground, and establish the position of the wood-burning stove (the stove’s shape can be either round or square, as per your requirements). Mark out the wall lines. Determine the height of the wood-burning stove (the stove platform is typically 78 cm high). Excavate the flue duct opening in the wall (ensure that the opening is properly sealed with mortar). Construct the chimney outside the house, making sure it extends above the roof; otherwise, smoke will enter the house and cause discomfort.
